The Camp Bum logo was literally designed on a napkin paper one evening while discussing what an ideal outdoor logo would look like. The design has a history, actually.
During the late 1800s, when railroads became a popular way to travel, the term “hobo” was introduced to describe a type of vagabond who lived with nothing more than what he carried on his back. This look and adventurous spirit were a big influence in the formulation of the design at this time.
Living in San Diego, the term “Beach Bum” was a common, and often admired, title given to the most “stoked” surfers of the time. Couple the “hobo” influence with the Southern Californian surf culture, and the term “Camp Bum” was an obvious match made in heaven…or on the trail.

Camp Bum's website was designed on the WordPress platform featuring WooCommerce and integrated with MailChimp. Additionally we installed Google Analytics, Facebook Tracking, Social Media plugins and more
